Preservation Detroit
I served on the Board of Directors from 2023 to 2026 and led the effort to formalize the local “Detroit Endangered Historic Places” based on the national work by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Sumer Hazime designed the social media template and I applied the color bar inspired by an endangered animal species chart that I saw at the zoo. The campaign featured preserved, endangered, and lost historic places in Detroit leading up to the organization’s 50th anniversary celebration.
