Many groups rallied around the complete failure of democracy at state and local government levels to protect and provide for the residents of Flint. As a past active participant in Flint organizing and outreach activities, this hit close to home. The graphic created was used to accompany a petition drive after the City, under State emergency management, continued sending water bills to residents even though the entire water supply had been contaminated.
