Since 2014, I have been teaching a community workshop with the Co.Open media instructor cooperative at Allied Media Projects. The program is a four week, four session series that walks through the whole process of community data collection, database creation, to mapping.
Over 100 community members, journalists, and students from local universities have gone through the the workshop and generated data and maps on their community issue areas.
