As part of my goal to teach as many people to make their own maps as possible, I started the Maptime Detroit chapter to get mapping and GIS workshops out to community organizations.
Since 2014, we’ve hosted 52 events and reached over 1,000 people across Detroit in web mapping, hand drawn maps, community asset mapping, and more.
